‘The chances of a net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 coming off are zero’: Richo

Sky News contributor Graham Richardson says you’ve now got “both sides of politics” pushing a policy “neither can deliver” – amid Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s recent comments abroad about a carbon-neutral economy for Australia.

“You’ve got both sides of politics pushing a policy that neither can deliver – I find that ridiculous,” he told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“The chances of a net-zero coming off are nil, zero, zilch – it won’t happen.

“I am something of a climate change warrior, but I’m not crazy, and I do know that there are limits to how far you can go with this that you have to be a bit sensible, and you can’t ever just allow the extremists to run it.”
