Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Virginia Terry McAuliffe cut his interview short after getting into a spat with a reporter as the race for the bellwether state tightens.
The former governor sat down with WJLA 7News reporter Nick Minock for a one-on-one interview. The same interviewer also sat down with a one-on-one consultation with Republican challenger Glenn Youngkin.
Both candidates were allotted twenty minutes airtime, but Mr. McAuliffe cut the interview short and chastised the reporter for not asking “better questions.”
Virginia is considered a swing state, and the result of November’s election will be a crucial indicator of the political health of the Biden administration.
