Singapore’s Formula One Grand Prix has been canceled for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Race promoters confessed it was a difficult decision but a necessary one. Race promoters said they couldn’t guarantee a complete event experience during safeguarding fans from the virus. Hence, while they confessed it was a difficult decision, they maintained it was a necessary one.

No ticket sales have been issued, and Formula One has considered location alternatives as a replacement event.
